About me
As a child, I bought my first camera for one dollar, five bubble gum wrappers, and a self-addressed stamped envelope. (This was before one-click shopping.)
The toy lens snapped onto a film cartridge and the prints were picked up from the local Fotomat.
My first attempts were forgettable, but the analog process was memorable. It taught me patience and a deep appreciation of the moment.
Some of those aspects can be seen in my New York street photography.
You don't see, you feel.
About my process
I’m not interested in getting "the shot," but rather in connecting with people and places. Photography is my introduction to the world.
I keep my process stubbornly simple. I prefer a film camera, one lens, and zero posing. My editing is just as minimal--just the honest development of what I saw.
In short, I shoot what moves me and then share that with you.

Beyond the Fotomat
Limited-edition, gallery-quality prints
Updates in technology have opened up print sharing way beyond drug-store snapshots.
Today I partner with the award-winning German lab WhiteWall. I select gallery-quality surfaces and frames that best express my intent for the collection, which is then presented in a limited edition of 10.
They are professionally packaged and securely shipped worldwide to you for hassle-free ordering.
