Standing 368 metres tall at the heart of Alexanderplatz, the Fernsehturm — Berlin's iconic television tower — is visible from almost every corner of the city. In this photograph, the skewed perspective distorts the size of the tower behind a lone passerby, its gleaming steel sphere catching the light against the sky. The contrast of scale creates a tension that is intriguing and unsettling.
