Always On the Go
Berlin never stops. Even standing still, the city hums with motion — trams, signals, voices, frequencies. This photograph of the Fernsehturm captures that restless energy in a single frame: the tower's iconic sphere rising above a slash of communication wires and a traffic light.
The Fernsehturm has watched over Berlin since 1969 — through division, reunification, and reinvention. It remains the city's most recognizable silhouette, a fixed point in a place that refuses to stand still. This image finds the tension between that permanence and the constant churn of urban life below.
Shot on black and white film, the monochrome rendering strips away distraction and lets the geometry speak: tower, wire, signal, sky.
